ONGOING OPEN REGISTRATION
There will be ongoing registration for the 2010-2011 school year. Anyone interested in applying for any of our school programs, please contact Mrs. Irma Cummings, Principal, at (718) 984-5750 to set up an appointment if you cannot attend the open registration dates. Limited seats are available in all programs.
The programs are:
Kindergarten through Grade 8
A three-day 4 year-old full day program;
A three-day 4 year-old morning program;
A two-day 3 year-old AM or PM program.
The requirements for attending Our Lady Star of the Sea School are:
KINDERGARTEN – 8th GRADE: Kindergarten students must be five years of age by Dec. 31, 2010. You must be a registered parishioner (register for the Parish at the Parish Office) to apply.
PRE-K THREE YEAR OLDS: The three year-old sessions will be offered two days (Tues. – Thurs.) AM and PM Sessions available. Students must be three years of age by Dec. 31, 2010 and potty trained.
PRE-K FOUR YEAR OLDS: The four year-old sessions will be offered full day on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Also, a half-day program is available in the morning 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Students must be four years of age by Dec. 31, 2010 and potty trained.
The following items are required for registration:
Child must be present.
Birth certificate.
Baptismal certificate (required for kindergarten to 8th grade only).
Sunday collection envelope number (not required for pre-K).
Proof of immunization.
Non-refundable $175 registration fee.
Report cards and standardized tests scores from the last 2 years (where applicable).
